British model and founder of LAPP the brand, Leomie Anderson is one of Victoria’s Secret’s recent ‘angels’. She recently created her own brand called LAPP, which standsfor Leomie Anderson, the project and the purpose.
It encompasses of an online clothing website and blog, which aims at “embodying the 21st-century girl and producing clothes that don’t only represent their style but also their issues.”
The blog aspect of LAPP works on the basis of submissions, where women or those who identify as such can share their stories and inspire others
Nigerian born and UK-based Fetto is the beauty director of Brides magazine and a freelance fashion, beauty and travel journalist.
She writes for the likes of Vogue, Telegraph, Grazia and The Sunday Times Style. Fetto started her career in the beauty industry over fifteen years ago, when she was a fashion intern at Elle and has since been working across fashion and beauty.
Born in Haiti, Jacques is a self-confessed denim lover with a great amount of experience in the fashion industry. With a master’s degree in journalism from Columbia University, she currently holds the position of fashion director at Teen Vogue US.
Jacques has also worked for other magazines including Vibe, Nylon and Glamour where she was a fashion news editor.
With an aim to redefine nude, London-based fashion entrepreneur Ade Hassan founded Nubian Skin in 2014. Creating nude lingerie and now also footwear to women of colour, Hassan has been a game changer for the fashion industry. Nubian skin has been worn by A-listers including Scandal’s Kerry Washington and Beyoncé Knowles on her Formation tour.
Born and raised in Chicago, senior fashion stylist Erika Degraffinreaidt created her agency French Vendette in 2011. With a degree in fashion merchandising management, Degraffinreaidt created French Vendette, a company that specialises in high fashion, editorial, commercial and advertising styling.
